Cucmber Gin Cooler

29 Jun

This is my sister’s take on a cucmber gin cooler, which is traditionally made with lime and tonic. I had lemonade, gin, cucumbers, and mint. It was refreshing and went perfectly with my grilled flatbread dinner. It is the perfect cocktail for a warm evening or after a long week.

For one drink:

Fill a tall glass with ice. Add 1-2 oz gin of choice (gin is naturally gluten-free). Fill the remainder of the glass with lemonade, add a sprig of mint, and a few slices of cucumber.

Is 9:45 in the morning too early to have one? 🙂

As the old saying goes it’s 5 o’clock somewhere! I would say it’s never to early to have a drink.

That looks really yummy and refreshing! I’m not a big fan of gin, but I may just have to try that this weekend 🙂
